Greetings! HELP! Volunteers still needed!
Druid Hills United Methodist Preschool is having it’s annual Fall Fling Festival on NOVEMBER 7th, that is open to the entire community!
We need sellers for the Artist Market!
The festival hours are from 10-2pm.
Tables are only $35($25 if you bring your own) and checks can be made payable to DHUMP PTC.
If you are interested, please contact me at 404.510.1199 or simply reply to this email by Friday October 23rd to reserve a space!

2009 Fall Fling Chair

A VERY BIG THANKS to everyone who volunteered at this semester’s DHUMP Work Day, on Saturday, October 17. Here are just some of the exciting activities undertaken by those who came:
– Refilled sand boxes
– Spread new mulch in the playgrounds and in the picnic area
– Dug out the playground gate and installed a step
– Raked leaves
– Pruned trees
– Tidied up garden area
– Installed smoke alarms
– Fixed and replaced swings
– Drank coffee (thanks Starbucks L5P!) and ate donuts
– Enjoyed each other’s company on a lovely Fall morning!
I would particularly like to thank all the teachers who volunteered their time, and Norris Nelson, whose help with recruitment and advertising (and purchasing of donuts) was invaluable.
If you missed this semester’s fun, please do come out in the Spring!

DHUMP T-shirts are for sale in a variety of sizes and styles with the three color DHUMP logo. To order a shirt, please write a note with the following information: Style, Size, Quantity, Child’s name, contact info and Class (the teachers’ names). You can put the note and a check in the DHUMP PTA box, please write T-shirts in the memo line. The shirt will be delivered to your child’s classroom cubby. If you have any questions or want to check availability, email Laura Edison at lauraedison@hotmail.com, please put DHUMP T-Shirts in the subject line.
